New upcoming releases and shows

Still working on the ETAE - discography LP. The band didn’t send in artwork and the masters yet but we are getting there. Thanks to Yoshi for the translation and help. For late summer (maybe September for Zoro fest) I hope to have a new HER�TYS 7inch ready. They were so good at Punk Illegal and i am super happy they asked me to do a 7inch. Watch out for their last LP (on notenough.se) and for live shows, they are a damn riper. For later this year (~November) I work on a new LP and tour for my Japanese tomodatchi CRUDE and also this autumn/winter i am stoked to release a new VICTIMS album. It will not be called killer again but it definitely will be killer. Some more reissues and maybe some new releases are on my list too but step by step.
VICTIMS will cruise the streets of Europe with me again for 5 days in July around ObsceneExtreme fest. KYLESA will hit the road with CONVERGE, don’t miss out.

Punk Illegal

Punk Illegal was fucking great. Much respect and thanks to the organizers and all the volunteers. I was happy to only enjoy it for one night though cause like every year it rained and i am also not so enthusiastic about two days at a festival. The one day was really great. VICTIMS - a powerful opener, pushed the action, ASTA KASK - pretty good, HER�TYS - the shit!!!, THE BABOON SHOW - great energetic live show, DOOM - pretty solid and FROM ASHES RISE - kick ass live set, caught up where they left, power, passion and still angry. As addition or even better than the great shows was meeting so many good people again, having good friends there and finally having the FAR boys around again. Hope i can bring em back to Europe next spring. - ROCK ON

Last weekend was a blast or even a blessing. Great times with good friends and great live shows, don’t know when i got this motivated and enthusiastic about it all the last time.
The evening in Stigtomta with great friends sauna, cooking and quality beers was the best. And i have to admit Sweden caught up or even got ahead of the German and Czech brewing when it comes to the best beers cause of great micro breweries and the willingness to develop… still the overall standard is better here but if there is no progress… Enough beer philosophy.
The trip to Punk Illegal with a van full of friends the next day was brilliant too. Short info to Punk Illegal in another news. I just want to thank my Swedish punk family for being ace and for being there!!!

MARTYRD�D - Sekt is available on vinyl now -> the LP is out!!! I didn’t knew if it would ever happen cause it seemed the curse was unbreakable but finally with a 9 month delay this bastard is out. As is the NAILS - S/t 7inch. A great debut of this Berlin based punkrock band of good friends of mine. There were some problems with the sound but it’s out as good as it was possible.
I updated the DATES section with some NAILS shows, VICTIMS festival appearances and the 2010 spring tour of KYLESA. Can’t wait to see em live again.
So only good news this time and I will lay back with a smile now.

2010 is on and i hope you had a good start.
I added the Victims tour dates. My br�dare will rock out with Municipal Waste and you should go and enjoy.
MARTYRD�D - Sekt LP is still cursed. We finally got a new testpressing with satisfying sound but there were wrong breaks cut between the songs. Dubplates&Mastering took responsibility and will make a new cut but the master was also lost at D&M and had to be prepared and sent again. The new cut should finally happen this week and a new testpressing will hopefully arrive in the next 2-3 weeks. No idea when this record will finally come out but we are still on it.
NAILS, a great new band from Berlin will release their debut on LaFamilia and TakenBySurprise. I am happy to cooperate with my Bavarian buddy Michl on that one and NAILS are a really promising band with great, dedicated members. Testpressing will come soon, hope this one will work out without problems.
Last year ended with 3 great shows by KYLESA, HELLSHOCK and NIGHTFEVER. Live shows like that and bands like them keep me going!!!

HELLSHOCK - Shadows Of The Afterworld LP reissue is done and arrived at punkdistro today. Comes with modified artwork in a heavy cardboard gatefold cover and was remastered by my soundwizard Frank “SAW” Bolz.
KYLESA - Static Tensions LP was repressed again and the KYLESA/VICTIMS Split 7inch was officially released now. Get your colored copy (green/black marbled) from the bands or punkdistro. Hope the US version on Deathwish will happen soon/at all.
MARTYRD�D - Sekt Lp is still in progress and the new testpressing should arrive next week. Fingers crossed that with the new mastering all turned out great now.
Sidenotes: 1.) I am university student now. I never thought i would become student but well i want something new with perspective and i like the idea of becoming elementary/primary school teacher. We’ll see if i make it through the bachelor. 2.) being godfather rocks!!! Ein Leben lang!!!

Barcelona and updates on releases

I am back from a short trip to Barcelona. It was fucking brilliant. Great weather, a great sports event (ADCC!!!), great travel company and great hosts with Bem and my guapo Guille who is (with Fede) el mejor in spain. MARTYRD�D Sekt Lp was completely new mastered by Frank “SAW” Bolz and is send out for the laquer cut. Hope new testpressings will arrive soon. HELLSHOCK Shadows Of The Afterworld LP was send out for terstpressings. This reissue will have a gatefold cover with some new artwork and was remastered by Frank “SAW” Bolz too.

hello everyone
I got an e-mail from TADASHI / HG fact that a memeber of my japanese punk family Seiichi the guitar player from BLOWBACK/niigata, japan, is very sick and needs support. I met him on my Japan trip and he’s an ace and helpful guy.
On August 30th, right after paintbox/world burns to death/blowback tour, he collapsed after a malignant virus in his liver caused the liver & some other internal organs to stop working and his body poisoned itself. He is still in intensive care and danger and only slowly comes out of coma. the medical treatment he gets already costs him & his family a huge amount of money and still not sure when he can get out of hospital and when/if he can work again.
I want to help collect donations for him and his family to support them to go through this horrible situation.

Suomi was a blast, as expected. Disfear kicked ass as did Municipal Waste. I hope i can be your lucky charm again soon. Thanks to Janne (CRI) for the great company and setting it all up. Hugs to Jukka, Ville and Jani for being so ace!!! Hangover is gone but again i needed 2-3 days to recover… damn, i’m getting really old it feels…
Martyrd�d - Sekt LP is coming closer. New master is nearly finished thanks to fast and pro Frank Bolz and hopefully next week we can order a new testpressing.
Hellshock - Shadows Of The Afterworld LP (re-release in cooperation with Ruinnation) will also go out for testpressing the next days.
p.s. go and see Inglourious Basterds and learn perfect Italian
