I will jump in a van again for a short time. I know, i know i said i will not tour again but it’s the last tour with my van (i’ll sell it to Niko from Hannover after the tour -> info(at)pain-of-mind.com) and i wanna have some good times with my loved Canadians of FU and go up to my Swedish family in Stockholm and do the traditional Suomi trip with Victims. DISFEAR - “Misanthropic Generation” LP

It’s done, after quite some time this fine release is available on vinyl again. Misanthropic Generation is Disfears 4th album and the first one with their current lineup (missing Uffe) and the one which made them step out/further from their old style. Still D-Beat but more rock, still brutal but more groove = just fucking brilliant. 13 songs (one vinyl only song) of crushing d-beat with rocking melodies. The record comes in a nice heavy cardboard gatefold. 500 on dark olivgreen/black marbled vinyl! The Cd is available from Relapse and the vinyl was originally done by Feralward and I licensed it from Relapse.
Oh, for the ‘name droppers’: featuring Henrik Frykman and Bj�rn Pettersson from Anti-Bofors and Marcus Andersson from Oxel�sund!!!

LA FAMILIA FEST is over = time to take a break

LA FAMILIA FEST was an amazing blast. All 3 shows were sold out and burst from the energy from the crowd and the bands. Thanks to all the promoters and venues for their effort. Thanks to all the bands and the DJ for coming, play and kick ass live. Thanks to all my friends who came by and made the evenings so great and thanks to all visitors to provide such energy and fun. Sorry to all the people who couldn’t get in and especially sorry to the organizers who had to make sure that no more people get in and got a lot of bullshit for that.
Now i take a break from the activist front. I will still release records and take part in some releases but all communication concerning tours, shows, records, business and so on has to go through info@punkdistro. I need time to focus on my health and future.

LA FAMILIA FEST starts today

Today starts the little fest tour. Please come by in Potsdam, Hamburg, M�lheim and have good times at fun shows. I’ll be in Hamburg and M�lheim and would be super happy to see many familiar faces!!!
Disfear + Doomriders are hitting the road after that weekend check the dates section and go to see them. Good guys, killer bands and great live entertainment!

LaFamiliaFest, Disfear MG LP, Punkdistro

Some lines to keep the people who really read what i write updated. LaFamilaFest is coming closer and nearly all is set. NOW DENIAL backed out of the M�lheim show cause they are insecure about their live quality with their new guitar player for now. We have a brilliant stand in. SICK MORMONS another embryo punks band which kicks ass. Classic SoCal Punk.
I will miss the Potsdam show cause i am in ambulatory rehab again. Good for my condition but sucks i miss out finally seein Insuiciety again and crowdsurf in Potsdam. I will also not make it to the Disfear shows in Karlsruhe and Munich and can’t spend the weekend i wanted in Munich. Damn i really wanted a Bretzl Tattoo from Jani, eat Bretzl and more with Flo at Michls Kopfeck… Anyway, the shows will rock.
Disfear MG Lp is in the pressing plant but we’re running late cause the testpress is not confirmed yet and some artwork things are not fixed… Hope they’ll have it in Potsdam already.
Punkdistro started pretty good, so if you wanna order my releases or have tour, backline, van, merch… questions, write them and they might be able to help.

Back from hospital

Hospital took way longer. 13 instead the expected 4 days. They were able to do way more than just to remove the metal. 2 muscles were stuck together and were separated, some bones were planed, metal was removed and more. On the long run this will help my arm to get better, never 100% but maybe 90%. But for now the surgery worked me over way harder than i thought and i am pretty weak, physical and mental. Feels like a big throw back but i know it will all go better just needs time. Business: The distribution/mailorder project punkdistro.de is up and running and they distribute and trade all my releases. I have no time and energy for direct business anymore, sorry. 3-way Split is out as you know, Disfear - Misanthropic Generation LP reissue is in the pressing plant. NIGHTMARE / BURIAL / CRUDE 12inch is ready. One sided, thick vinyl, heavy cardboard gatefold, 8-page booklet. 2 songs each band of brutal, over the top hardcore. 300 in colored vinyl, the first 118 come with original A3 Japan Tour poster. Newsletter will follow next week and sales will start next week too. For now i’m in hospital over the weekend. Get the metal removed and another check on my shoulder.

The last days i have been in Nyk�ping and Stockholm and it was a blast. The lunch, dinner, coffee, show and hang out dates were so super nice and i even saw/met two of my good friends kids and that made the trip even more special. AtTheGates were great as expected maybe not as energetic as i hoped but the music… hell yeah!!! Good meetings with Disfear and Wolfbrigade and we got things finally worked out so expect some vinyl of them via my label soonish. Well, what should i say, just fucking brilliant and i really want to thank my friends over there for always coming out and making me feeling so welcome -> you are the best and keep me going and motivated. Now i am back and have to organize everything for the office/storage place move to Hannover… So i will be not available until next week.

NIGHTMARE, BURIAL, CRUDE - Split 12inch DELAYED… shit!!!

My sample copy of the NIGHTMARE, BURIAL, CRUDE - Split 12inch arrived yesterday. The pressing plant MPO made two little mistakes i didn’t order and i don’t like so the complete pressing has to be done again. My pressing agent Bieber is on it and pushing them to see their mistakes and press again fast. Stay tuned.

No surgery, no Japan, no refund… and at least no stress

Back out of the hospital. Surgery was not done cause I got good news. Nerves are not destroyed and will probably heal themselves. Now I just have to wait and wait and wait… And do my rehab. Starts soon. Now that the surgery was lined up i canceled my flight and tried to get it refunded but the insurance doesn’t want to refund the flight cause the surgery was not done and my health problems after such an accident had to be expected… Hope i somehow solve it with them and get my money back. 1100,- EUR for nothing I can’t afford. Well at least i was able to pay my last debts at the pressing plant and now the NIGHTMARE/BURIAL/CRUDE can happen really soon. Last layout stuff seems to be fixed. Just a matter of weeks now. I updated the DATES section. GEWAPEND BETON had to cancel parts of their August tour cause the shows especially in the north just didn’t come together. The plan to combine mailorder/wholesale with 2 other labels/friends is in the works and might start in a month. Blabla, I take it easy nowadays and step back and had so great time at Lisas birthday and with Hannah and Marc that everything else does not get to close. I love my friends and hate stress.
