Endstand, BornDead, CrossStichedEyes. Going to shows again rules.
I went to shows again the last 2-3 weeks. First BornDead and BehindEnemyLines, packed, intense show and good to see my friends again. Endstand and Lighthouse Anthem was really impressive. Endstand are really outstanding and proof that positive hardcore is not dead! CrossStichedEyes yesterday was a blast, great old UK-style punk with passion. Check em out they rule. Was great to go to shows again and see bands with content and passion and just getting back to normality a little bit again. Thanks to the bands for letting me feel the power again.
Gewapend Beton LP and other upcoming releases
The GEWAPEND BETON LP is in the pressing plant. The testpressing should arrive any day and the record should be ready for the release show on december 15th in Amsterdam. The SKITKIDS/NIGHTMARE Split 7inch is also in progress. Testpressing will be ordered next week. Also the new SKITKIDS 12inch is in progress. Will be a cooperation with Mick (Room101) and will kick ass. Expect the SKITKIDS stuff for end of December. In January i will take care of the vinyl version of the NIGHTMARE/ BURIAL/ CRUDE Split 12inch. I got in mastered and it will blow you away. And for sure more releases in progress but step by step.
update health situtaion
Finally all are out of the hospital again. After a lot of bad luck, infection with a hospital virus (orsa), another surgery, slow healing wounds, Sarah finally made it out of the hospital again today. So happy for her. She still has to go to the hopspital every second day to get new bandage on her open wound on the shoulder but finally some progress for her. Marc can start to use his right foot again, only up to 20kg for now, but step by step he gets his leg back and learns to walk again. My concentration problem and headache finally calms down and bones are healing good. So we all improve and moving forward.
Benefit money / Money situtation
First of all thanks so much to all the people who wrote me cards and letters and send presents and thought of us, the solidarity is amazing and kept me sane in the hospital and helped a lot to recover so fast. Knowing so many great people are there outside caring is a lovely and overwhelming feeling. I can’t thank you enough.
We have a big amount of money on the benefit account already. But we don’t know the financial situtaion yet. We are still waiting on a reply of the insurance about how much we can get from them. As soon as we know we will publish the details of what we have and spend. If we have money left after covering our expences we will forward it to ICTUS and/or other people who need it. So don’t worry we will not waste the money.
