WARPED Vinyl Part 3
My account adviser took care that the pressing plant will replace all the warped 7inches. So if you think your copy is not ok you can get it replaced. Also my account adviser will take care that mistakes like this won’t happen again. Big thanks to Ulrike Newetzki my account adviser and to Optimal for the service and obligingness and for sure to Bieber of Flight13 duplication for being such a passionate and helpful pressing agent and friend.
We close our Distro
Contamination Distribution will be shut down in the next 2-3 weeks. I’ll see if one day I have the time and interest in taking part in punk business again, but for now I’m just tired of it so it’s over. Our label releases (Hate, Unsociable, Contamination) will soon be distributed and traded by reliable friends. Check back at www.contaminationdistribution.com to get a snip/bargain.
Taking a Break from 1st of August until October/November
I just try to update my lists and reorganize my storage place together with Lisa and I realize it’s all a big mess and I’m burned out again. I will get the lists updated (www.contaminationdistribution.com) and do 2 more weeks of the distro business and then I will just close down everything and won’t be available until October/November. I will have someone distributing my releases in that period but no represses or new presses won’t happen. Ok, 1-2 records will come cause they are a cooperations with other labels and they take care of it but I will not do anything exept for organizing all my mess and getting distance from the business for a while. I need a break to get the burnout under control. I want to go on with the labels but right now I can’t handle it.
WARPED VINYL and more shit Part 2
Cause most of the vinyl of the KAMIKATZE 7inch and the IDIOTS RULE 7inch is warped it will not be sold until i figured out with the pressing plant how we can solve all this. The record plays fine and it doesn’t affect the sound but it looks shitty. I guess it won’t be repressed right before I move so you all have to wait until I moved and have settled down in Bremen. So both records are most probably not available until September/October. The lim. version of the IDIOTS RULE 7inch on thick vinyl will be available as mailorder copies the next days. So get them from them band or us and the regular vinyl has to wait. Also the SEEIN RED / FRAMTID 7inch can not be sold until I have found smaller paper innersleeves for the 7inches, cause the ones from the pressing plant don’t fit in the cover and I won’t sell 7inches without papersleeve. So only the lim. tour version will be available for a while from us or Seein Red.
